The one i have only has one slot for a ssd. However you can purchase a adaptor to plug into one of the usb ports that will take a ssd drive which then would allow you to connect a ssd for each additional usb port you have an adaptor plugged in to!

Hi @corkyrodine

It seems that depending on the exact variant of the model you selected, according to specifications there's provision for up to 2 storage drives

If your variant has either a 45Wh or 57Wh battery then the laptop supports 2 drives i.e. 1 x sata 7mm HDD and 1 x M.2 2280 SSD.

If it has the 70Wh battery then its only the 1 M.2 SSD

If the laptop does have either a 45Wh or 57Wh battery then looking at p.47 (53 of 72 pdf) of the hardware maintenance manual for the model, there's a dummy HDD module in the laptop.

You could remove the dummy module and install an up to 4TB (4000GB) 2.5" 7mm sata SSD drive in its place as a 2nd drive.

If there's no sata connector cable or bracket for the dummy drive in the laptop, search online for 5C10S30033 for the cable and 5B40S21974 for the bracket, to find suppliers that suit you best. (examples only)
